A podcast channel allows you to upload podcasts produced by you and expose them to a broader audience. Disctopia users can subscribe to podcasts to get notified each time a new episode has been uploaded.
If you already have a podcast channel elsewhere and want to take it to Disctopia, please email our support team at support@disctopia.com, and we will take care of it.
To create a new podcast channel on Disctopia, take the following simple steps:
- Log in to your Disctopia account.
- Click on the My Library icon in the panel on the left side of the page.
- Click on the UPLOAD button on the upper right side of the landing page.
- You can drag or drop your file or click Select Files to upload
- Click on Podcast, and choose between starting a new podcast or adding a new episode
- If you are creating a new podcast channel, you’ll click on “New Podcast.”
- Start by uploading your podcast artwork either in PNG or JPEG format
- You can now fill in your podcast title, description, keywords, category, and sub-category
- There’s also a drop-down to choose whether the Podcast is X-Rated and if it’s exclusive to Disctopia.
- Go through the information again, and click on “Save and Continue.”
- You just created a Podcast Channel on Disctopia.
